Download an update patch for Trumpet Winsock:

Please download the patch that will upgrade your Trumpet dialer to meet our system requirements.
Installation Instructions:
1. Click on the link below to download the patch. (Approx Download Time: 15 seconds.)
2. After you download the patch, go to your file manager, and from the File menu, choose "Search..."
3. Enter "patchr1.exe" for the "Search For..." box. Make sure that "C:\" is entered for the "Seach From" box.
4. After you find patchr1.exe, double click on it. Choose "Unzip". After it is done, choose "Cancel".
5: Now run "Config" from your Internet Communications menu and choose your new local phone number.

Note: This patch will automatically install itself into C:\PPP, where your Trumpet Winsock files were origionally installed. If when you installed Trumpet Winsock, you chose to install into a different directory, you will need to specify the directory that contains the Trumpet Winsock files.
