Press OK at the bottom, and then press OK again. It may ask you to restart your computer. If this is the case, go ahead and restart your machine before moving on.

3. Now, lets create a shortcut to your dialing icon so you do not have to go into the Dial Up Networking icon every time you want to dial.

Double click on the icon "My Computer", and go into Dial Up Networking. Find the icon that you created earlier. With your mouse, click once, and drag the icon over to your desktop and drop it there. It will tell you that it cannot move the icon here, but it would like to make a shortcut. Choose Yes. Close any windows that you have open. Double click on your Dial up icon on your desktop. Insert your username and password in the appropriate areas. Press the connect button and your modem should start dialing. Wait a couple rings and your computer should begin communicating with the other modem. When your modem connects, Windows may bring up a smaller window with a box that counts off time spent online. When you see this box, minimize it, and run your internet applications! A good place to start would be and http://www.windows95.com for 32 bit shareware.
