DIAL UP SETTINGS

Windows 95/98 users
1. Change your Dial Up Networking settings. You can do this 2 ways, you can download a self
extracting patch that will do it for you, or you can set them manually. If you want to download the
patch (about a 30 second download), than please click here for further instructions.

2. If you know where the settings are and want to do it manually, then you can do this by going
into Dial Up Networking, and going into the properties of your connection that you use. Then,
go into the "Server Types", and press the "TCP/IP" settings button. Here are the correct settings
for specifying name server addresses:

    Primary DNS:     209.3.224.20
    Secondary DNS: 209.3.224.21

If you are still having problems, you may want to go through your Dial Up Networking settings
a little bit more carefully. Click here for a tutorial on how to set up Dial Up Networking for
Windows 95 and Windows 98.

Windows 3.x users
1. You will need to download a self extracting patch (about a 1 minute download), and run it
before the next time you connect. You only need to install it once. Click here for further
instructions
on how to install the patch.

Windows NT users
Please change your DNS settings in both the Network icon (if you have them specified there), and
in Dial Up Networking to the same DNS numbers as above. See the instructions for NT RAS setup if you need further help.
