WWW Page Help Guide

If you wish to put your home page online, this page will explain in great detail how to upload, download, and access your home page, as well as other aspects pertaining to www page creation.

Getting Your WWW Page Online, Accessing Your Page and Indexing Issues

To view your home page, you should use the following Uniform Resource Location (URL):

http://users.california.com/~userid/

This URL is the equivalent to your html directory. Any suffixes to this URL will be the equivalent suffixes in your html directory. For example:

http://users.california.com/~userid/index.html
would access the file index.html located in your html directory.

You should upload or rename everything to lower case. For more information on how to upload your web site, please read the Uploading via FTP tutorial we have.

If you need to have a counter on your home page, you'd probably should read the Counter Documentation. Only one counter per member, please. No technical support on counters is provided.

If you need to make use of our mail form, please read the following help page in order to set it up: Mail Form Help Page
