Top California Chefs Compete at the American Fare Festival

Visitors have long flocked to the city of Napa to experience its famed Oxbow Public Market, tantalizing tasting rooms, and acclaimed eateries. Now, there’s another reason to hit the town: Top chefs will descend on the destination to compete in a cook-off highlighting the best flavors of American cuisine in a fun, interactive tasting event. 

Hosted by award-winning chef and restaurateur Charlie Palmer, American Fare will showcase an array of American-inspired bites by Palmer himself, Charlie Palmer Steak Napa’s executive chef Francisco Lopez, and Dry Creek Kitchen’s executive chef Scott Romano—along with creations from several visiting chefs. Each chef will choose a recipe from Palmer’s new American Fare cookbook and add their own special twist, with attending guests tasting every dish and determining the winner. It all takes place on November 18 at Charlie Palmer Steak, tucked inside local hot spot Archer Hotel Napa.
