The self-proclaimed “Cowboy Capital of the World”, Oakdale is a small, rustic town providing a taste of the Old West in the agricultural San Joaquin Valley. Visitors with a sweet tooth may also want to check out the Oakdale Chocolate Festival in May, when artisanal chocolates, delicious bites, amusement park rides, and classic cars descend on the town.
