Want to make the most of your cherry-picking trip to Brentwood? Here are a few essential tips and tricks to know.

Brentwood Cherry-Picking Tips

Before hitting the road to go cherry-picking in Brentwood, keep a few tips and tricks in mind to make the most of this fun adventure. If you’re a first-time cherry-picker in Brentwood, here’s everything you need to know.

1. Cherry-picking season is very limited. Make sure you plan in advance and avoid going on weekends if possible to steer clear of traffic, lines, large crowds, and congested farms.

2. Decide which farm to visit in advance. There are a number of good cherry farms in Brentwood. Make your choice early, call to see if they’re open, ask about their variety, check if you need to bring a bucket with you, and then drive to the orchards.

3. Wear a farm-friendly outfit. Sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, and a hat are especially recommended—you’ll be out in the sun all day long.

4. Take cash with you to the cherry farms. Many farms only accept payment in cash, so make sure you’re ready to pay for your cherries without a card.
